no what he wants is to have the parking lamps NOT ON while his headlights are on.. similar to DRL's

okay to do this just tape over one of the connectors with electrical tape.. only prolem is they will not turn on when you just set it to parking lamps...

well, thats a way, but is there a way to have them still work when you turn on the parking lamps? i've seen a way to do it on the 97-99's but they said it would be different on the 00-01's. b/c the turn signals wouldnt work either if i just put electrical tape over the connectors (the cops around here are really anal and i dont feel like getting pulled over for something retarded like my turn signals) but i guess it wouldnt be that big of a deal.

I think you have to gigure out which wire runs constant power (corners on) and which wire makes them blink (turn on when you hit the turn signals) and get rid of the constant power one

does that make sense?

There's a generic headlight diagram on Page 12-35 through 12-37 of the Haynes manual, which 12-35 is the US model for headlights, 12-36 for Canada (most likely for Camry/Solara due to DRL too), and 12-37 for turn signal, hazard. Since I don't know wiring at all, I'll just scan the pages you need. send an e-mail to me if you need them.
