How much to tighten sparks plugs (on 5SFE)?

I dont have a torque wrench so I dont know how 13 ft-lbs feels like.

Tighten them by hand, then go one 1/4 of a spark plug turn with the wrench.

Just see how the old one were tighted on... loosen them then tighten them, you'll get the feel... make sure the spark plugs are gapped right...

You want it cold. And don't forget anti-sieze for the threads, plus dielectic grease for the contacts.

When I tried to remove the old plugs, my spark plug T-wrench broke! Had to use a 2' long wrench to yank them out! Looks like the factory boys in Japan must have used an air wrench to install them.

After 50,000km/3 years of use:
