Is it advisable to put a 35amp battery for my 5sfe?

The stock is 55amp & weighs 14.7kgs. I want some weight savings. What are the disadvantages?

55 amp?

minimum is 450 Cold Cranking Amps

I have a 650CCA battery

Stock is Panasonic 55D23L, 12v 55ah, 348CCA.

Im looking at putting in a 35ah, 274CCA battery. Similar to what the Corollas have.

55ah refers to amp hours, 650 refers to cold cranking amps.

If its only for the track then do it up, but you won't be able to run any accesories with the small battery.
