Yes, I have owned both, 01 Sol and 99 Camry and it is a direct match. Jon.

i know that the solara gen1 and camry gen 4 looks the same, but there is more room in the engine for the solara as the hood has like a 3inch gap. Camry have like 1.5 inch gap.

It should fit and my suggestion is to go search some of the pics in the TN gallery and PM those guys who have the TRD bar

Discussion

Im not sure what the discussion is. As I stated in my post I have owned/own a 01 Sol and 99 Cam, both supercharged, both TRD strut bar, etc and the part is a direct match.

Both the solara and the camry SHARE the same part number for the TRD strut bar (so yeah its the same part). The trd strut bar really isn't needed in my opinion...a regular cheaper strut bar will do you suffice. Only reason some people acquired it, cus the trd strut bar helps us with clearance issues when we're supercharged (cus of the raised bar). but if your not supercharged and don't plan on it..just buy a reg strut bar from ebay and use the difference in money on RSB!

Yeah I've been looking for low profile fittings also, so far no luck.
