Gen4 owners rear lights question

the passenger side of the red rear light stopped working (it's right beside the rear corner lights. I was thinking replacing the light blub myself (haha first time doing anything car related except mounting a license plate cover and adding washer fluids) Does anyone know how do remove the light plate from the rear and what kind of light blub I should be getting? Go to a dealer is my last option... or maybe i should since I still get that extended warrently on my car

if its the far corner, its a 1197 wedge type.
pop the trunk and remove the plastic molding, use a phillips head screw driver to release the clips and then pry them out lightly. Then use a metric wrench or socket (10mm?) and remove the 4 bolts around the light. pop it out and release the cable. The lights come out by twisting them counter clockwize, installation is reverse of removal.
