hey everybody,
I am looking for an exhaust for my gen3 camry, that has a nice sound and appealing look to it. I was thinking of getting a Apex n-1 universal exhaust, but I am open to suggestions. I would really appreciate all the help I can get.

any thing free flowing and large diameter will make a deep sound due to the air rushing through bellowing in the muffler. i have an arospeed cheap bomb style and when a friend of mines in her v6 camry revved hers with exhaust and i revved mines everyone in our crew said mines was deeper up to about 4500 rpm after that mah engine was louder than mah exhaust and the intake made it sound more high pitch.

Welcome to the forum. If you are from Toronto, you can goto Brullen Exhaust for a custom one. He does good work.

Dude....good choice, Apexi N1...take a look at mine...nice deep deep NOISE, yes, NOISE, very loud, you can hear that from 3 blocks down...and not to mention when you came home from a party at 2:00 in the morning and you CAN wake the entire neightbourhood up...the only other exhaust that is louder then that is HARLEY DAVIDSON...

So, try something else, also, N1 does lose some low-end power, you have to REV up to 4000 rpm to actually make your car move....I start hating that exhaust...

Hey does anybody know if you can use a tanabe exhaust on a gen3 camry? Maybe cutting the downpipe and get a custom made one? One more thing I am looking for an exhaust that is good all around :sound, look, performance. Any suggestions?

You can pretty much put on any muffler you want as long as it'll physically fit underneath the car.

When you find one that you like just take it to a muffler shop and they'll cut off the stock one and weld on the new one.
