Question KYB ( any non OEM ) Strut mount for Gen3 Camry? Front?

My strut mounts are totally worn out, when I rock my wheel, I can see and hear movement and noise coming directly from the mount.

has anyone ever installed KYB strut mounts for a Gen3 Camry before? I belive the Gen4s are the same...

The toyota repair manual shows 2 parts: the strut mount, and the insulater which attaches to the strut mount, but I couldn't find a KYB "insulator" of the same shape. I don't think it's a good idea to just use the old insulator. KYB does sell a boot of some kind, but the shape is entirely different, it looked more like a spring bump from toyota's manual with a dust cover on it... some like that...

So I'm confused, is the KYB strut mount different from the Toyota OEM? in a sense that it doesn't require a insulator? or maybe KYB strut mount plus their "boot" replaces the toyota strut mount plus insulator plus spring bump?
confused... I don't have a garage nor a second car so that I can leave things out and try ... so, has anyone done it before?

Thank you!

I have a Gen 1.5 Solara (2002). I had KYB struts installed and had KYB strut mounts installed at the same time. I should have left the stock mounts alone. KYB mounts started making clunking sounds over bumps and creaking sounds when turning after 2 years. I also noted a difference in the weight of the mounts. Toyota noticeably heavier than KYB. Not sure if that means anything as far as performance.
