Angry 96 cam how do I change side marker/ running light bulbs!!!!!!


96 camry 4 door.

My side running light bulb went out on the driver side and I can't even get to the friggin bulb. I can't even get the housling out!!! This is so frustrating!

please help.

i assume they're the corner lights you're talking about.

to remove those, pop the hood open. above the corner light you will see where it extends over the headlight and there is a screw. take it out. now pull gently on the housing. try to wiggle it. that's the only one screw holding it. just try to be gentle but apply even force throughout. once you get it off, just remove the socket and the bulb. done deal.

After removing the screw, pull the unit forward (towards the front of the car). When I had mine out last time, I put a dab of grease in the hole where the locating pin goes to make it easier to get it out next time. The area will be pretty obvious once the unit is out.

thank you all! I had removed the screw and was pulling kinda hard, but I did not want to break it because I thought that there must be a second screw.

I pulled real hard this time, and it came out!
