Question regarding 2000 Camry CE right side view mirror

Recently we had a small accident and ended with the right side view mirror dangling from the body. The whole unit is intact but it cannot be remounted back on the car. Please do let me know what options I have. Do I have to replace the whole unit or can I buy some part and fix it.

Any input would be highly appreciated

Thanks

My xle had that happen last summer. The mirror from dealer is about $300 CDN (mine was more because it was heated)

Replacement took about half an hour.

inside your door behind the side mirror is a piece of black plastic (triangle shaped) pull that off and there will be 3 screws to take out, and the mirror is off. unplug the wire connector and toss that aside. Clean off the old gasket or foam weather stripping.

Put new one on and pay attention to the foam weatherstripping and were to stick it so that it all matches.

Then plug the connector in, and reassemble everything.
