5sfe to 1mzfe. 95' cammy auto. I want it to stay auto

Before I am flamed, please let me explain.

Almost if not all searches were about throwing in the manual tranny as well. I dont want to do that, and have no deisre to do that with the amount of traffic in my area. It would just be a strait pain to deal with a manual with the traffic I am in every morning.

My car is a gen 3.5 5sfe auto camry. I am serious about doing a 1mzfe swap into it. I currently have an engine that costed me around 400$ with 75000 miles on it from a friend of mine who works at the local auto scrap place.

On the subject of the automatic tranny thats with my 5sfe, will it be sufficient for the 1mzfe? The most that I am planning to do to the 1mzfe is an intake and exhaust. MAYBE a little headwork, but not likely to happen.

Sorry if I came off rude. I am fed up with searching and people saying use the search when I just find posts with people telling them to use the search bar. I like to call it the loop of hell, and I am finished with the loop of hell. There was also a lack of gen 3.5 cammys asking about this swap, and keeping an automatic tranny.

Thank You,

Ryan

There are ways around it, remapping the microsoft servers, stopping the service, using a firewall. But what I personally do is close my curtains, wrap my computer in tin foil and yell "BRING IT ON" over and over again. -Drunken_panda
