Anyone know where I can get clear tail lights for my 92 camry? I found them at http://www.autodynamic.com but it is on back order right now. Anyone know any other websites I can get the clear tail lights for my 92 camry thank-you.

I heard that APC isn't making them anymore because they were illegal...or was that just the altezzas for other cars?

I believe so...they stopped production on clears...but someone back me up on this one....

I've been here for awhile but haven't posted anything yet. Clear taillights are illegal because according to a lawbook here in Orlando that a cop showed me, they aren't visible from distance.

I don't think there's one state or province in North America where clear tails are legal. They have to reflect red. If someone were to rear end you and you have clears, they'd have a good case against you.

Altezzas are illegal as well even though they have the red reflectors. I forgot how it was justified but they are only legal on cars that have it stock...ie IS300... just remembered that.

Here in Toronto, I see about 5 cars a day that have clears or altezzas on...people don't care, they get the tickets and grin and bear it. I think the cops just can't handle it anymore, there's so many cars out there with clear lights, they probably can't be bothered anymore.

FYI-about 4-5 years ago, the cops here had a big blitz on high wattage blue bulbs

i dont care whether there illegal or not..cuz i'm going to be putting red bulbs in them for braking and the turn signal...so i wont get pulled over for that right?...anyone know ANYWHERE i can get the clear tail lights, i''ll buy it used??

Is it illegal in california? Cause i was plannign to get clear taillights and have red signals and breaking lights.. w/ the red bulbs won't it reflect a slightly reddish color?
