1998 V6
Last week I changed the transmission pan gasket. I did not have a torque wrench at the time and was waiting till they went on black Friday sale at Harbor Freight Tools for $9.99.
So, I went ahead and did it last week without a torque wrench and then today checked the torque.
Haynes manual says 43 in-lb
When I checked they were all like 75-80 in-lb from when I did it by hand.
Would you loosen them all and re-torque them or just forget-about-it and drive the car? Thanks!
