3rd Generation Gen 3 Trans.

Hey all, for some reason when i shift my car into "drive", it waits then makes a hard jerk and starts to roll... i checked the engine mounts, had to replace the top one (that dogbone kind) and the other to seemed fine..

also while i'm drive, its make the same jerk going from 2nd to 3rd and from 3rd to 4th etc etc etc... do you guys think this is a transmition problem?
if so how much would you expect it to cost to fix or or replace the trans.?

when was the last time you changed/flushed your tranny fluid?

and it'll probably cost aroudn 1200 or so if you can pick up a cheap tranny- the expense is all in the labor

def sounds like a motor mount check em' all again make sure there is no play. or have someone look under the hood while you engage the gears, if its a motor mount the engine will rock backwards/forwards
