3rd Generation How to remove a headlight Gen 3

How to remove a headlight in a 92-94 Camry

Incase you have never removed a headlight and would like to know how... here is how you do it.... Sorry if this is a repost... You can make this a sticky if it's not already one.

Sure.... this is what you have to do.

Step 1:
Remove your grill... it is held in by 2 screws on the top of the grill, on the left and right side.

Step 2:
Remove your side light via the screw that holds it in at the top of the corner light(under the hood) and remove the side light by pulling it out.... it is held in by that one screw.

If I an not mistaken you will need a 10mm socket for the rest.

Step 3:
Where you just took out your side light in that hole you will see a bolt that is attached to the headlight.....remove it.

Step 4:
On the side of the light where it is close to the grill, you will see 2 bolts... one by the bottom of the light on the bumper, and one just 3 inches up from that on a metal bracket......remove them

Step 5: There is one final bolt that holds in the light.... it is located right next to the screw that you removed to get the corner light out.

Step 6: Carefully remove the head light..... its' that simple and I hope this helps

I did this because someone wanted to know how to do this. I agree that it is an easy task, but you also have to remember that not everyone is car savy or ever will be. So insted on throwing out negative comments (like we all know you like to do) ...keep them to your self

Sorry that instead of flaming some guy, I went and snaped some pics for him and posted them tonight to help him out..... Maybe next time I should call him a noob and tell him to use the search button.........

You're kidding right? Putting back is the reverse of taking off.

Actually a owners manual won't tell you how to remove a headlight, but a repair manual should.

And the proper term is RTFM (read the f**king manual).

Anyways, this thread has been added to the Camry FAQ.
