Replace RF fender 96 Camry

My daughter got the right front fender on her Camry hit. It looks like I can get a new fender pretty cheap. My question is, how much work is involved to replace the fender, and are there any special tools needed?

Thanks in advance for any/all replies.

My g/f had her fender hit. We found a place called certifit and they had a fender for $25!!!!!!!! This was for a 94 accord. I would guess that you just unscrew the bolts and just replace, although I've never done it, can't be that hard. But you have to paint it if you don't want it to look ghetto.

Paint and install with the supplied part cost $200 at a reputable shop, as in not Midas.

no special tools needed... put aside like 3 hours total if you are running pretty slow on it. i did it with a buddy in maybe 1 hour, but i have a lot of experience on how things fit together in the camry.

one concern though is with cheap replacements you will NEVER get a 100% perfect fit like you would with an OEM piece... the best option is a junkyard fender from an original toyota in my opinion. that will take some time to get off if your junkyard does not remove it for you. but also if you do this, you can usually find one that is the same color in the junkyard.

Right, about 3hrs if you really really don't know what you're doing. I actually got it done under an hour (just taking it off), but I had to work kinda fast. There was A LOT of shit to take off and unbolt before you can even get to the fenders. Too much work for just a fender..you'll find out after you do it
