maybe it's a bit stupid but a searched and i didn't found anything. The question is : Is the 97-01 camry v6 fits in a 92 camry?, with no big modification? Thanks

Thats some pretty bad grammer errors... but as for your question you can probably do it.. not sure how much you would have to do but i know the engine bay is quite a bit smaller in a 92 then a Gen 4 style one

it would be cheaper to sell + buy a v6 to be honest. considering the 3/3.5 came with 1MZ's (albiet older models with different ignition and fuel systems etc) its possible but its much easier to just buy one outright.

125 front wheel horsepower with major retard issues between 4500-5200RPM -
OD switched off, even when not in 3rd results in major power loss/rpm drop.

1MZ can be done but you heard these guys..... Also Will aka I4toV6Swap done it to his Gen3 not only changing the wiennieI4 to a 1MZ V6 but also making it Stick and Supercharged... It all depends on how deep your pockets are.........

you would definatly be better off just buying a new camry with the 1mz. why are you wanting to swap in another V6? i understand if you have the 5sfe. however, if you have the 4cyl, you may want to look into turbocharging. my buddy did the same thing with his celica. full stand alone with a wide band. this is before the new turbo, wideband and stand alone. this may be helpful to you! http://www.eng.utoledo.edu/~eschrein...rbo/index.html
