That is definitely true, Saturn used it, and it was great while it was using it. No major reliabilities issues with their cars at all, heck I got a 1992 sl2 with 175k and its still going strong. But since they were never really profitable (no one ever bought them) GM had to implement saturn into GM fully and its basically another chevy or pontiac now.
