A Carfax won't help, I don't know how it could.
Carfax's are done based on the VIN #. I've already explained how to read the VIN for what you're looking for.

His concept was coined TQM (Total Quality Management). The big three didn't listen, so he went to the Japanese and they listened. The rest is history. There are other things that contributed also, but TQM was a big help. When Saturn first started up, they tried that model as well. Not sure if Saturn is still doing it, as their quality has slipped. But I digress. The american worker is capable of building an excellent car, if the Unions don't get in the way.
That is definitely true, Saturn used it, and it was great while it was using it. No major reliabilities issues with their cars at all, heck I got a 1992 sl2 with 175k and its still going strong. But since they were never really profitable (no one ever bought them) GM had to implement saturn into GM fully and its basically another chevy or pontiac now.
