link stabilizer bar gen 3

so I am trying to finishing fixing my dads camry after his accident. I put the new grill, hood, lights, radiator in and took it for a ride. everythingseemed fine, but I noticed the rotors squealing alot so I went home to check the brakes. The pads are barely existent, needless to say the rotors were destroyed as a result of it, so I ran to the store to pick up some pads and rotors and am putting them on. My brother and I were putting them on when he yells out holy crap!! Look!! apparently the nuts for the link stablizer bar were loose( i think thats what its called - its that 3inch bar that connects to the control arm). One nut was completely gone and the bar was just dangling there. So I just wanted to make sure that in such a case, after we fix that problem, is there anything else to look for? would driving the car with that bar unattached effect other things? looking at all the dirt on it, it looks like it has been like that for awhile so I think it should be fine
