96 camry oem Mirage Alarm starter killed...

My 96 camry doesn't start at the moment.
It has an I guess stock alarm by mirage. From what I can tell, the starter kill doesn't disarm so I get nothing when I turn the key.
However, the car does start if I hold that little switch (I assume alarm disable) under the lever that pops open the hood. From that I conclude that a relay the alarm turns off for the starter kill is probably broken... Any ideas as to where to check? Or how to test it?

I know the alarm still works because I unhooked the battery and when I reconnected it well... im lucky I didn't bang my head on the hood.

Look under the drivers side dash for a relay thats connected to the alarm.

The relay should only trigger when the alarm is armed and the key is turned to start position.

Ah I was afraid of that. I stuck my head down there and only saw a box that was labled Sensor with a little knob on it. I guess that means my alarm is around there somewhere but will need ltos of dismantling to get to.
