3rd Generation Gen 3 Center Tail Light Replacement

I've decided to replace my Gen 3 Center Tail Light, because mine is leaking. I was wondering which other models/years will fit in this place. I like the ones that arent a solid bar, but Im not sure what year that is. Also, I might be interested in a solid piece with no lights, if anyone knows where I could get one. Thanks.

i know the 96 ones dont have the whole center tail light, they just have the ends of the center piece. not sure if the 95 is the same way or not. and i think if you just order on for a 96 they come without the lights on the end of the center piece. if not you could always just paint it, but remember, your reverse lights are on that bar, so dont paint over them.

Solid plastic trunk piece is 92-94, 95-96 has the trunk garnish, which you have.
The curve on the Gen 3 garnish will not match your tail lights

Anyone know a good source for a cheap center piece? 93 stock is fine. If anyone has one for sale, let me know, or if you know any good junk yards around Akron OH, or anyone who is selling one.

I have a 94 stock one that used to be reflective, but I painted it green and left the reverse light squares unpainted. If you want it I'll sell it to you for cheap, I just want to get rid of it.

no thanks for that green one. id have to paint it to match, and i might as well keep the one i have if im going to paint it. but, as far as painting goes, how does it look with the squares unpainted? i might try that if it doesnt look bad.

Does the 96 have reverse lights on the corners instead, if they arent on the center bar? That would be sweet. Especially if there are any aftermarket clear ones.
