2001 5sfe. Around San Francsico where temperature today is 57-64F. I drove it around 11:00 AM to Coscto and everything was fine. However, after 1 hour of shopping, the car wont start.
It cranks. In fact, if I put my foot on gas paddle, it will start. However, once I took my foot away, it will just stall quietly. My bet is that idle air control valve stopped working. But could it be other reasons? Burning too lean or too rich? Could it be spark plugs and spark plug wires? Today is raining and relatively wet. Another possibility is coolant temp. sensor. Need ideas from guys here.
There is no code yet. I have a simplistic OBD2 scanner, and a bluetooth adapter with Torque Pro. If I look at the software, which numbers should I pay most attention to? Thanks a lot! I shall wait around 1 hour here and then go to take a look.
