3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
i saw that thread... i thought it was Photoshopped too at first. but then after seeing more and more pictures i became a believer. props for all the hard work that must've gone into that car.
WOW! That's some crazy work! But how is that thing hinged?? The rear of the door come to a point almost, and with the door opening completely horizontal (not gull wing or scissor style), there'd be only room for one hinge!
Sweet how much did it cost and where did you get it done?
Is it possible to do it on a 3rd Gen. i have been thinking of it since performance is ou the question, also nice front end conversion its pretty smooth looking.
It is the sweetest lookin one so far!!!

Phi, I thought I had posted the rear before, but here it is, Accord tails.
Dave, he's locally here, up near Niles, met him through a "community service" program when his Gen4 then was completely white with the TRD kit, and the inner rear tail lights were removed and bondoed out. I don' t know where he got the kits from, probably ordered through Body Werks in Skokie.
BooKoo, this is my friend's car, not mine, though I wouldn't mind having it. I didn't ask how much he paid, but I'm sure it's in excess of $5k USD at least.
Wow luc, that is awesome what he has done to this, even cooler he is in our area. Are you planning on going to that Import thing you mentioned 4/12 ? Maybe we could all meet up, I think I might actually be in town for once HAHA
