I agree, 134a is pitiful compared to the old stuff, and I kinda like that new stuff that you linked to, if I ever happen to need a re-charge, I will probably get that Glacier stuff!

The going rate for r12 is like $70-$80 a pound. Any shop should be more than happy to take it out for you for little or no charge.
