3rd & 4th Generation (19921996 & 19972001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
It kinda looked luxurious in it's time and then the 5th gen came out as long with the 5.5 and both looked luxurious escpecially with the chrome but now that the new 07 came out it looks more sporty now.
Black coloured GEN 4.5 Looks LUXURY/SPORTY if you put TRD/GTP Bodykit + Aftermarket Rims + tinted Windows
But STOCK GEN 4.5 Looks like any other normal cars
I could only give you that argument if you are talking about the ones w/ the 2 tone paint job. Other wise I agree w/ the last poster, they look more sporty. The Gen 5 was the most luxurious looking because it had tons of room.

Both are stock. Id have to say that it doesn't really look that luxo...more just average to sporty...and of course, with a kit and all...then sporty.
I think Gen 5 and 5.5 are the only real Camry's to pull off the luxobarge thing..seeing at there big and roomy. Even the Gen 6's look sporty to me..they dont seem to look as big?

The most luxurious ones in my opinion were the 1990-1991 v6 camrys because they looked very grand, especially in a dark paint scheme. They were really top of the line back then and could've pulled off luxury better than the es250 of that time. i'll see if i can find a pic soon.

I agree. I wanted a gallery edition (white/silver) when I bought my gen4.5 four years ago, but could not find one in condition I wanted. So it's just silver (lunar mist metallic).

Huh? It is Luxo or Sport? They are different things so your statement is somewhat of an oxymoron. Granted, there is such a thing as a luxorious sports car and a sporty luxo car, but too call something both....especially when it is truly neither
Slap a body kit, tint and rims on an average car and you have a pimped out average car, IMO.
Take my Gen. 6....it is a sport sedan, but not a sports sedan or a luxo ride.
