Regular should be fine. The owner's manual stated that regular can be used but a higher octane is recommended for the V6(Correct me if I'm wrong). But if you experience pinging or knocking when using regular, I suggest you stick with the higher octanes.

If you drive hard and press more than half the pedal alll the time then i highly recomend you that you that you use the premium it will give you more acceleration response, espececially in hot wheter, it also keeps you fuel system in top working shape because it has more detergent than regualr if you buy gassolines from eighter shell, chevron, or 76 proclean. I also notice that it kind of keeps the exhaust tip clean. But if you drive very slow and don't rev the engine alot then you can use reglar, but I just recomend 91 octane. To tell you the truth, i drive like an old lady most of the time but i still use premium because i know it will be good for the engine. IMO

you can drive just fine on 87octane- but you will get less performance and potential pinging when going up hills, hot weather, more people in the car, etc.

yea, you can use either or, but when i used regular to try to cheap out for a few weeks, i def noticed a power loss. and all my mechanic friends tell me...go ahead and use super, good for the injectors cuz of the detergents and a lil more of that power that i crave =P

so it kinda just depends on yur driving style
g/l buddy

it's still a good idea to use the supreme....you'll get better mileage as well....so in the end it's better all around since the v6 can use the power potential that it contains as well
