92 Camry - planning motor swap

Hi All,

Spring 2007 planning on doing up my ride including motor swap body kit, paint, rims etc. My main concern is the motor/tranny swap. The car is auto atm, but I would like to either go with the 3SGTE motor or a V6 (either would be 5 spd). What would be reccomended by the pros on this site? and also what pricing should i be looking for including any of the above with parts and labour? Also, if you know of any places that I can maybe call to get some prices cause i have no clue. I'm located in Toronto. I'm sure this has been posted before but i did a search and couldnt find anything too detailed.

price and everything depends on which engine you choose. either a V6 or turbo a 5S-FE is pretty common in these parts. a lot of guys with the 3VZ-FE convert their auto to manual. and the guys with the 5S-FE turbocharge it.

Its very hard to get solid info from people here as ALOT of poeple ask the same question. So no-one bothers to answer now. Search is your best friend!
