Gear Shifter Panel Light gave out?

I have a 1998 Camry LE V6. The light in the gear shifter panel gave out the other day. I tried to remove the plate, to replace the bulb, which says P,R,D,2,L, but I could not remove it. I did take of the cover that is the first thing to be removed. After that the entire gear shifter was exposed. I took of the 2 screws at the bottom towards the back and one golden screw towards the left front. The plastic box would move but the rear of the box would not. I do not know how to do this but if someone could help me with some pictures perhaps I would appreciate that a lot.

I'm not familiar with the Gen 4, can you post up a few pics for me to see so I can get a grasp of it? I know it's a pain on the Gen 3 to do.
