3rd Generation 3vzfe exhaust system

I currently have an exhaust leak in my 3vzfe. Should I just have it replaced with OEM parts or at this time should I upgrade the exhaust system with custom work? And isn't the stock exhaust system on the 3vzfe fine as it is or could it be better? Anyone with knowledgable information on 3vzfe exhaust systems please share the info.

You could upgrade, but from what i hear there is no real big power gain, just a better note. Terrastrife has a nice custom y-pipe, you should ask him.

since it seems that you want to keep running the n2o, then an aftermarket free-flowing exhaust is a good idea - 2.5" all the way through including high flow cat and muffler

one of hte most restrictive points of hte exhaust though is the y-pipe. not as bad as the 1mz, but still restrictive

Where does everyone get the notion that the 3vz y is better than the 1mz? Its every bit as bad lol.

Get a Y pipe back but you had better pick up two good resonators and dont use a magnaflow unless you dont mind some interior drone, the outside note is nice but its like being in an airplane and it gets old.

With a v6 you have two heads on the engine, each has one exhaust bank and for a single exhaust setup like the Camry has it needs a place to combine the two exhaust banks into one, the Y pipe. The Y on the Camry's v6 is pretty bad and you will get some nice power if you get someone to completly rework your exhaust, but you need a nice muffler and resonator setup because these engines like to be loud =/
