Monza exhaust tip??any experience with them?quailty?
hi guys i have an exhaust question.ive been thinking of buying some sort of exhaust tip to replace my old dull single straight pipe on my 92 camry le.i dont want to buy a whole new muffler or anythiung just an exhaust tip to dress it up and make it look clean.im curious about the monza exhaust tips, they look real nice and also some are resonators so it gives out some sort of tone.has anyone had experience with monza exhaust?? are they quality items??please give me some feedback, thanxxx
tips wont change sound. if done right i guess it can look okay. all the ones i have seen on every car look stupid and dont flow with the car. i have a magnaflow dual tip on mine and damon (guy above me) has a single 4" tip, both are clean looking and nice sounding.
stock...weak
just intake....meh
intake/axel back Magnaflow...sweet
intake/flex-back Magnaflow...sweet
CAI/flex-back Magnaflow...still sweet
CAI/Headers/Flex-back Magnaflow...RICE!!! lol on idle it sounds decent/deep but when you WOT it can pass for rice.
You said you don't want a full out exhust system but a nice axel-back setup won't cost too much, will look cleaner and still sound ok (depending on brand.)

yeah its loud though... plus headers can cause a lot of burbling and popping, i know mine do, but i think it sounds sick
lol yea, kinda sounds like angry bee's. My gas mileage sux now because I find myself flooring it all the time now. I was iffy at 1st but am starting to like the sound and it's definitly a head turner.

i know the sound haha, we have almost the same setup... i have ripp header, 2.25 in pipe, high flow ripp cat and magnaflow muffler, needs a resonator to tone it down some

Yea basically. I have Brospeed headers, 2.25" piping, 2.25" resonator, no cat and same muffler.

If you turbo it you can put on anything you want and it will sound good. Like just a straight 2.5 inch pipe all the way back plus it shoots fire sometimes. But really tips are kinda ricy, I would just get a nice muffler.

Tips are ricy? wtf man....i guess all the standard cars that have factory tips are rice boxes then...

I'd put at least a resonator in there somewhere.
