4th Generation 2007 Camry 16" Wheels on a 1998 4th Gen?

I did a search but turned up empty.

Does anyone know if the 2007 Camry 16" wheels will fit on my 1998 Camry?

Thanks!

The bolt pattern should be ok, but you will probably need spacers.

What are the exact specs on the 16" wheels? I doubt you need spacers unless they were wider then 215 or 225.

Thanks for posting your replies so quick!

The tires are 215/60 R16.

The only problem I see now is the overall diameter is too big.
I guess I could go with a shorter sidewall...

Thanks again!

According to http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/infoTireMath.dos

There's only .67" difference in diameter. I think it might just be fine without rubbing. But to be on the safer side, I guess going with 215/55 is a better idea.

Wow, thanks for the heads up.
I did a calculation on miata.net's tire calculator but I must've input some wrong info.
Hmmm, looks like I may do this afterall.

EDIT: Arrgghhh, they're already sold. I guess you snooze you lose!
