98 speaker issue

98 with blown passenger front door speaker. This is an aftermarket speaker. Need detailed info on removing door panel for speaker replacement. How to do it without making a mess or damaging water seals or trim.

Go to the Audio forum, click on "Ultimate Audio Sticky"
There are instruction in there on how to replace the speaker.

Thanks...very helpful. One problem. The photo showing the insertion of the screwdriver to remove the door handle trim does not show. There is a small red "x" in it's place. All other photos show properly. how can I access this photo?

You mean the trim around the inside lever to open the door?

I'm referencing this section...below is the paragraph preceding the non viewable photo and the red x:

The hardest part to remove is the door handle trim. For this you'll need a screwdriver and a special touch. Using the picture below as a reference, insert the screwdriver where indicated and leverage the screwdriver so you're lifting the trim away from the door handle. It's not intuitive, but if you leverage it just right the trim will pop off and out easy as cake.
