Tail light warning dash light comes on everytime I turn on the headlights

All my brake lights and signal lights work fine. Why does the tail light warning light on the dash light up as soon as I turn my headlights on?? Again all the external lights are working, so I dont understand why a warning light would come on. During the day when I am not using my headlights it is not lit.??? I had this problem last year but the bulbs were in fact blown out. After I replaced the bulbs the warning light did go out but a few months later came back on but all the bulbs are still working??

Sometimes my Gen3 does that right before a light goes on. I would change your corner lights just to see if that gets rid of the warning. Thats what happened in my situation.

The light out sensor might be going bad.

yea on the outside corner of both 3rd and 4th gen camry tailights theres light just chillin there on for no reason. my left one is out but my right one still works.i think im gonna fix that today. it doesnt cause a light warning though. but check them anywho.

the warning light isnt part of those corner lights, only the brake lights. my warning light started coming on about a month before a tail light finally gave up the ghost.

You brake light is NOT out, what is out is the OTHER light in with the brake light. there is 2 Filiments in the bulb. 1 has the brake light, and the other is the light that goes on when you turn your lights on at night. Turn your headlights on and go look at the back. Let me know.
