K heres it layed down, I installed the remote start, alarm system, and the 2way pager in my 96 camry, EVERYTHING , the car, alarm and pager work perfect, but when I remote start the car, it cranks and runs perfectly but when I insert the key and turn it (so I can drive it) the transmission malfunction light comes on. The car runs fine but this annoying lights keeps coming on and staying on, it buggs me =P Before I take it to the dealer and they run the $60 test I figgured I'd see if anybody's got a clue what to do. When I took it to the dealer before, some dude told me he thought you had to run some wire to the transmission that tells the car its in park or neutral, I didnt run this wire. Anybody ever done this before? Lemme know somethin..... Heres where I got all the Remote start wires goin to right now.....
Ignition #1 is black and orange
Ignition #2 is black and yellow
Starter Wire is black and white
Accessory Wire is Pink and Blue
The constant 12 volt is White

Thats all the wires I got connected for the remote start, anybody know somethin I need to add/change? Help me out... }:-

The wiring info I got from DEI lists the ignition as black/yellow and second ignition as black/orange. I don't think it really matters since you'll see +12V on both wires whenever the ignition is on but, its something to check into.

The only other thing I can think of is the wire to the tranny or safety switch. The car won't start unless its in park or neutral.

Yea, Ive already tried switching the ignition wires around....It works fine either way but the light still comes on. As the safety switch or cranny switch goes, Ive dont have that wired up and the car still starts, do you know if I do have to wire something to that? And if I do, do you know which wire it is?

I'm not sure but, heres the wiring info that I have. It says its for a 95 but, the wiring is the same for all 3rd gen's.
