98 Camry LE Battery

My daughter just had an accident in her 98 Camry - 4 cyl. The front bumper was damaged (nearly torn off from the front passenger side). The fireman cut the positive battery cables about three inches from the battery. I notice two wires coming from the terminal - one to the starter solenoid - and assume the other (a smaller wire) to the fuse box?? Can I just splice all the wires together using 2 guage battery wire just to get the car from the towing company to home (30 miles)? Will there be any problem in running it like this? I'm hoping I can replace the bumper and other parts. No obvious damage to frame. Any recommendations on cheap replacement parts (bumper, radiator, passenger headlight and side marker, passenger inner fender)? Thanks. Mark

hope shes OK

take pics of what you are talking about , and ans for splicing, id say it might work temporarily, but you might wann have it redone more professionally later if you plan to keep the car.

and as for cheap parts, ebay wasnt that bad, and i bought a ton of parts for my accord (similar front end collision) at .com...i believe they are some major company divided into many sub sites, but i havnt had any issues with them in about 5 or more orders.

G/L on what you do.

check out google for replacement parts, not oem quality but cheap. I was going to buy them for my car when I got into an accident but then I found a local shop that carried the same things but no shipping fee
