3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
i gotta question...im told by others that have a 00 and below model camry's like my is a 99 and i asked them how did they fit 20's on it and they told me they had 20x7.5" with 225/35/20 tires without rubbing...is this true? help me plz
see this camry is off of cardomain...and i asked him...he said 20x7.5 with 225/35/20 tires...but i heard you can also use 225/30/20 tires...
Why??? It looks nasty.... but yes you could fit them... either size tire is fine, just use the right offset.
Come on, Milt... Leave the kid alone... If he wants his car to look like a garbage truck, let him... If he parks on your curb on Wednesday, you'll know what to do... Hopefully, he won't leave his trunk open!!!
20s do look pretty bad on it. 17s are the max I'd go for performance purposes, anyything larger then that would actually slow you down, unless their expensive racing lightweights.

I thought 18's were the max that would fit, nevermind 20's but x2 on the 17's 20's would just look retarded.
20's fit fine on a gen 4, i have 20x8 with a 225/35/zr20 on my 97 but i wouldn't recomend it if you are in to performance, and by the way there is not much diff between 19,s and 20,s i had both and 19s sometimes cost more for tires and for rims. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2189002
Lol that car in the pic is gonna roll if it gets T-Boned.... or turns to hard for that matter. I saw a car similar to a camry here in Australia the other day that had 20inchers on, the person had also raised the suspension, it was literally like a monster truck, it was also a wagon.... looks so STUPID
Guys... RELAX... Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder... If we got drunk enough, we just might think that's cool for a hot minute... Then we'll sober up and come to our senses...
