3rd Generation How to reset Alarm on 93 camry after replacing battery?

Hi,

I just replaced the battery on my 93 camry's alarm. After changing the battery, the alarm does not work any more. I think that I need to reset the alarm, but I do not know how. The alarm key has two buttons (One is Lock/unlock Icon which is actually used to lock/unlock the car. The other button is "Option" which is not in use) I believe the alarm wires are under driver side panel. Two years ago a mechanic gave a new keyless entry remote and fixed it within 3 minutes. After I replaced the battery today the alarm stopped working. I just dont want to pay $60 to some mechanice to spend 5 minutes to reset the car alarm. Any detailed info on how to reset the alarm would be really appreciated. Thanks guys.

I figured it out. I could not find it on FAQs. Basically, you just have to download the PDF manual from manf. webiste and follow the directions. On my Camry I had audiovox PROOE2 remote control.
So the manual said.

Put the key in ignition and turn it to "On" position.
2.) Turn the valet swith (Driver side, near hood opener) "On and then Off then On then Off then On and then finally Off"
3.) You should hear the chirp noise
4.) Press and hold the lock/unlock button on your alarm till you hear long beep
5.) Turn Valet switch On and then Off again.
6.) Turn the key to off and remove
7.) It should program your remote

It took me about 15 minutes and about 4-5 tries. (I am not really good w/ cars)

You can just google your alarm's model # which should be on the back of alarm key.
