One Speed Wipers

Hi guys,

I've been a member for awhile now. I mostly search before I post but I couldnt find anything reguarding this topic.

I have an 01 Camry CE with the intermittant? wipers. But, right now my wipers only have 1 speed and when I go to turn them off. They stop whereever they are at, at that moment. They used to come back down.

Does anyone know why it might be doing this? Thanks guys

Sounds like a Relay issue. Hopefully someone can give a better answer though.

i had this same problem on my wifes old tempo. i replaced the switch assembly, but that didnt do a thing. i sold the car before i got around to fixing it. sorry this isnt much help, but i can say that if you think it might be the swich itself, its probably not. try what they^ said.

Thanks guys,

I'll check the relays and grounds.

I did think that it might be the whole wiper stalk. I'll check that after everything else.

Thanks again!
