3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
A wiring setup to run a 5s-fe by tuning the oxygen sensor in closed loop, an extra fuel injector, ignition timing, and triggering an n2o solenoid.
Tuning an o2 sensor > fooling around with a load sensor.

On the single coil systems I greatly prefer to intercept the IGT dwell/firing signal and modify it to simplify things. The old engines have a 1/2 speed driven crankshaft position sensor (Distributor) that can be very hard to pickup & pass 100% correctly so the ECU will accept it. Which is why I preffer just taking the signal to the ignitor & modifying it directly.
It can copy / change dual signals... You can drive two ignition coils directly with it too. In wasted spark.
Email sent with your files. I would greatly advise you to seafoam that son of a bitch before you really get on it. I would suggst dropping down to NGK plugs 1 heat range cooler too. It'll help you keep cooler with the timing & the n2o will need it.
Or take out some of the ignition timing I put in. You may get alittle mild pinging on the timing I put in. if so just bakc the numbers down alittle, or I'll do it for you. If not you've got a real good engine LoL!
You oughta gain afew mpg on that N/A set of maps I gave you too, along with gaining some power. You're leaned out with the o2 sensor from best emessions back down to maximum economy. Which... Is peachy. Couple of * of extra timing too. If you get rid of your EGR system, you'll likely ping cruising around. Keep that in mind so. It's still gunna kick your ass when you reset your ECU & take it for the first drive on map-B. That thing oughta respond *so* much freaking better in closed loop it won't be funny.

Thanks. The problem with PP is twofold.
No exposure
And they never really published enough information about what they actually do. The commands you can input, what specific things can be made to do.
Which is the problem you run into with them. You can program them to do neat shit outside of what they're meant to do. It's just that nobody outside of Perfect Power ever really knows.

You might aswell start with one. I mean you buy it. You can tune it yourself easy enough.
It's not going to add just boatloads of power on it's own, but neither is any other intake / exhaust "ish" mod so. Think of it as paying a few hundred bucks to begin with, and getting free power later on as you continue to upgrade it.
