1994 Camry stalling issue

2.2 Liter.

Randomly I'll be driving and when i come to a stop, the starts idling rough and then shuts off. sometimes it starts right away sometimes it takes a while longer.

This is a reapearing issue that just came back. I know back then, i did google this issue and did come up with a few people having the same exact issue with the 94 camry 4 cylinder models but there was no real real solution.

does anybody know of anything related to this model and the stalling issue?
And no, there is no Check Engine Light at all and the car was tuned-up recently as well (plutgs, wires, etc).

Is there any miss fire while driving or at idle? Is the rpm needle moving up and down by itself? My suggestion is to clean the iac valve, throttle body, and clean the egr valve.
Check to see if your spark plugs are properly gapped. Also check to see the condtion of your fuel injectors.

After you have done all this, try getting a bottle of "Sean Foam" at AutoZone, and believe me this stuff is great!!!

I'm assuming you did everything needed for a tuneup on a 94 camry

-spark plugs
-wires
-pcv valve
-distributor cap
-igntion rotor
-air filter

Everythings perfect and not a bad sin days

during normal driving or idle the car idles perfect, I could not tell the car has 170,00, thats how smooth it idles. It's only when it gets into this frenzy state of bad idle and then shuts off when the rpm needle goes nuts.

i did spray the throttle body w/ fuel injector cleaner. However, did not spary the IAC or EGR, will do that next.

I did everything in that list except cap and rotor. They looked good to me so I didn't change it. Just took a light piece of sandpaper on all the contacts.

I did another search and it seems some people had trouble with the coolant temp sensor. But not others.

took the car out for a spin and of course is still stalling.
but I noticed that if I rev the shit out of it like a coupla times, the idle fixed itself.

here a link that should help you out

http://www.aa1car.com/library/2003/us60324.htm

You should also buy a bottle of and see if it make any difference with your fuel injectors before you spend money on replacing the bad ones. And like I said before try taking off the iac valve and clean it really well.
How's your gas mileage? Did it get worse when this problem started to happen? EGR valve might also be clogged.
