99 Camry Headlight bulbs

Hi All

I've just installed Visionplus into my headlights and they are great. However, I noticed that there is another smaller bulb in the headlight assembly - what is this for and what bulb type - thanks

You mean a smaller bulb in the headlight housing or the side marker/turn signal housing?

Is there an actual bulb in there or a spot that looks like it can hold a bulb?


Are you right hand drive or left?

Mine is a right hand drive version and yes there is a small twist bulb just southeast position of where the H4 bulb is located - i was informed by a spare shop that it is a driving light - the one you light up before the low beam is selected - sorry did not take a photo of it

that is a called a city light, they are designed so when you are in the city you can turn on your marker signals, one click on the light control, and it will light up your headlight housing. They are to limit light pollution in cities, where the street lamps already give off enough light to see.

can you take a pic? I am curious on where they are and whether I would want to inport a set.

If you were to replace your headlights, could you get the same ones?
