^werd, you'll get more money parting it out than scrapping it.

well parting it out is what im thinking of doing, i just put in KYB GR-2s and the eibach pro kit, they dont even have 500KMS on them. as well as brand new winters that arent even on the car yet, clear corners, strut tower brace.. etc etc.. i had the car off the road for 5 months i was saving money up to fix up the camry.. then i got everything in, and boom, 2 days after it was back on the road it died. im not replacing the engine because the body has 2 dents in the quarter panels that cant be taken out without replacement and the front right fender is bent.. the car hit a curb at a high speed (not me lol) and the entire front right wheel was pushed back about 1 inch past the back of the wheel well.. yeah it was a good curb. thats been fixed but its still out of alignment permenantly.. i think its 1/4" too far back or too far forward still. the trunk is rusting i had it assed and the rust on the car is said to be about 1000$ worth to repair, thats from 2 shops one said 900 one said 1000. i always hated the sliggishness of the 5s-fe and i dont have the skills to do a swap myself, and i dont have the money to put into a GOOD swap by someone else. i cant swap to a v6 seeing as i just put the eibachs and gr2s in for the 4cyl's weight. the chassis, tranny, and motor have 300,000kms on them. i just feel that its the poor camrys time.. so as for "parting" it out.. what do you mean, ebay, TN forums.. or what? and what kind of parts, EVERYTHING? like driveshafts, tranny (recently rebuilt but who wants a 4 cyl auto tranny) engine parts like valve cover etc, ? i was thinking of selling the springs and struts as a set, just pull them out and sell them assembled with the strut mounts attached. if i were sell parts off it, how would i get it to a scrap yard once its gutted or someone calls the city and says wtf is this junkyard in my neighbourhood. lol, sorry about such a long post that doesnt stay on track but im just still kind of lost i never expected this from the camry but i also did in the back of my head
