XM radio and Sirius Question.

I have a JVC Stereo that is SAT Radio Ready, I am wondering what all i need to get Sirius satellite radio.. I was told I need a Sirius Tuner Car Kit that adapts to the JVC . They run around $80-$100 .. Is this correct? Or is there something else that i can get that is a little cheaper..

Also.. What do you suggest is better??

I beleive the prices are about the same for XM radio and Sirius radio.. Both about $12.99.. Correct? Which one keeps update music.. I have sirius radio at my home and some of the rap songst that are played are not exactly new ones.. Im wondering if XM radio keeps music update better then Sirius?

I think you pry need this...

I think Crutchfield and Circuit City has them for $79.99, but there might be better deals online, or on eBay...

The general opinion on XM411.com is that XM has a much more expanded playlist than Sirius. I can't personally vouch for that, since I usually listen to classic rock or news most of the time, so I don't know. XM is $12.99/month, with additional radios $6.99/month. I imagine Sirius has similar pricing for additional units, so it would probably save you a few bucks a month to stay with Sirius. I really like my XM, but I only have it because my wife's G6 she got last year came with it, and I piggy-backed a couple more radios on that account.

That is all you need. It comes with the antenna and everything. We have them at Best Buy.
