3rd Generation Brakes???

Is there a usual time for the brakes to wear down???
How often should I change the brakes??

The reason I'm asking is because I had to replace my rotors, brakes, and the right axle not too long ago and I waited too late to change them before the situation got worse and it did anyway. I didn't hear any sqeaking or scrubing on the brakes; the only things I noticed were (1) I picked up a lot of brake dust in 2 days and (2) everytime I used the brakes the brake pedal and the steering wheel was shaking so bad that I thought the motor was going to fall out from under the car!!

Your brake pad's materials is bad, it creates much heat to warp the rotor. You'd better change to ceramic, no dust smooth and quiet.

Definetely, before you go to ceramic, change or resurface the rotor

Best to replace the rotors, as they tend to warp again if you just resurface them. Pay a little more for a quality rotor like Brembo
