Ok, I just finished extending my battery wires, installed the optimas and hooked everything up and also did the big 3. The alarm works, the turn signals work but the car will NOT start. No clicks no whining nothing... The headlights also dont turn on. Also when i turn the key the only light i see is the little oil light.
Any thing that I may have missed? Helllllllllllllp
EDIT:
There is a single click noise from when i try to start is coming from one of the relays in the fuse/relay box.
I found that two wires going from the fuse box were supposed to be spliced together, after doing that, started the car and BAM!!! CarPC which is running off my second battery worked like a charm! All my TV's lit up and voltage from the batter reading a sweet 12.08.
No lag while starting the car, Lights are not dimming no matter what i do! WOOOOOOOOOOO THE CAMRY IS BACK BABYYYYYYYY
Congratulation! Doesn't it make you feel good when you figure shit like that out!! My wonderful "automotive dumb" daughter once called AAA, bc her car wouldn't start, she'd left it in "drive" when she turned it off....boy did she feel stupid!!
It felt great man, When my dad came home he asked me which shop did the alternator install and how much it ran, I told him I did it, he couldn't believe it. lol.
Oh damn. Ok so now it seems to be giving me trouble.
When I started the car I was getting around 12.59 Volts. With the car off I was getting around 12.20
My idle was completely normal.
After leaving it running for about 20 mins, I noticed that the voltage dropped to around 11.20 and then to 10.54
I took the car off and I got 9.63
Anyone know whats going on?
I ran 4 guage wire from the alt to the battery then I left the stock cable in place from the alt.
I then upgraded the chasis to ground to a 4 guage and took out the old one.
Then I ran a 0 guage cable from the first battery directly to the second battery and grounded it to the body....
EDIT:
Ok I left the car running, the idle is still normal but the voltage has now dropped to 7.64!
When i rev the car up a little the lights remain dim... From what I gather this sounds like the alternator isn't sending power to anything at all....
anyone else?

I'd suspect the alternator or the wires/connections associated with the alternator.
Good luck!

Well I think the problem has been discovered. Apparently this alternator needs a trigger wire attached to the harness for it to work. So I'm going to get right on that...
um...just so everyone knows...14.4 is normal running, 13.2-15.4v is normal charging voltages, 12.6 is standard fully charged battery, any less than that is considered discharged. if you're running less than 12.6, your alternator is not pushing enough electrons. check for voltage drops and such between the alt and batteries.

7 ASE's.
Whoops forgot to post... The problem or at least what seems to be the problem is the trigger wire was never connected (didnt know I needed that) Which explains why the voltage slowly dropped to 7.6 while the car was running. The alternator was never really on. Tomorrow I will be hooking it up and testing my numbers.
