3rd Generation intake 4 cylinder intake question, opinion

has anyone seen this intake on ebay?
what do u think?cheap isnt it. its claims no modificatins required. true or not?

i would buy one if it required no modifications to work, meaning it has all the holes for the appropriate hoses. plus it eliminates the resonator box on the stock intake pipe.

only two holes are necessary on the pipe? i thought i saw three on the stock hose.

save you're money and get something real and CARB legal.

this may bring you more problems and waste more of your money than it's worth. i know i had issues with mine, and many others have had issues too.

supposedly, after a person installs an intake, the computer readjust the air fuel ratio after about 20 minutes
but the sound of the intake and the throttle response can be felt and heard immediately.

more air, less fuel.

^ ? there is no DIFFERENCE with aftermarket or stock with feel.. power wise, barely ANYTHING

how can there be more air and less fuel? why would the car start running lean because of some cheap intake?

btw, the sound is nice but worth the money is to each his own

There is definately a little difference in power, even if it is "barely" anything. It's not all about the horsepower gain, it's more for the powerband and throttle response.

^I know what to say to you...

But yeah, more power or not, you arent going to feel it. I got mine because the stock intake tube cracked and it was cheaper to buy a ricer one it did make my car sound a little throatier as well, which was a welcome change.
