How-To Help Knock sensor

Hi guys, I need some help I need to replace my knock sensor and need some direction. I have downloaded the manual but isn't much help as the knock sensor is only discussed in where the engine is removed from the car.

it's a 92 Camry 2.2 5s fe

What is the easiest way to get the intake manifold off to get to the knock sensor. do I have to take off the valve cover?

any help is appreciated!

Joe,

I've had mine on and off a few times. Access for me was from the bottom (my car is in my signature).

I don't recall any great difficulty getting it off and back on. I don't recall having to remove anything to gain access.
