Hi all... Dunno if you guys have any solutions for this one. I currently own a 95 camry LE with newly installed speakers. 2 x 3-way Kenwoods replacing the rear and 2x 2-way Pioneers replacing the front doors.
I've had these speakers for a while, and for some reason the speakers are rattling the back and the front when I play heavy bass.
I heard a friend saying that doublesided tape along with mounting tape around the rim of the speakers would resolve the rattling issue, but before I do anything I wanted to make sure. I've also heard that spacer would probably be needed, I have no idea what they are. I do plan to do some "self discovering soon" to find out what is completely rattling, but I want a clean job done instead.
As far as the front speakers go, I don't want to mess with the door, or the rear, until I find out exactly what can be done. The 2 front pioneers fit perfectly, but the whole door rattles when there's any type of bass coming out of it. The same with the rear speaker, though if I push the felt covering down it lessens the rattling.-- fustrating part is just trying to get clean sound coming out of it.
Any suggestions? (by the way, these are being powered from the deck, no subwoofer or amplifier.)

Dynomat sucks and is overpriced. There's plenty of alternatives out there that work just as good/better for a fraction of the price like Raammat and Fatmat.
The rattling is unlikely to be caused by loose speakers, but is more likely due to loose plastic trim, like your third brake light cover.

Yeah, I found all the sources of the rattling, now I just need a quick solution and hopefully cheap solution on getting the rattling fixed.
Currently like my 1st post this is my setup
1 x DEH-4500MP Pioneer Deck
2 x 6 1/2 Pioneer 2 way speakers (Rattling door frame) - When frame is pushed down, rattling stops, also the speaker screen is virbating as well.
2 x 6x9 Kenwood 3 way speakers in the back
Vibration source:
1 - At the doors, the frame rattles and squeeks (need to find a way to get that fixed)
2 - At the rear window, felt rattles against the speakers. (when i push the felt up (from the trunk) away from the speakers they stop as well.
- I heard something about spacers or anything that can give some type of leaway.
- I also heard that doublesided tape will get rid of the noise, but most of the distortion is created by the vibration from the speaker screens.
- I don't mind doing the work, I just want to finish the work knowing that it won't vibrate.
- If I can professionaly get it done and as a final solution i'll spend 100 (quoted price) bucks to get that fixed!.
Resolution --> lack of a subwoofer and using my regular speakers for bass... once sub took over the bass part everything was back to normal! No more physics book pressing down the speaker grill in the back seat!
Everything took me 300 install.
10" Kicker woofer
a minor 350 watt amp placed in the back to power that sub ... all's done.
