99 Camry-Leaking oil after oil change

I just got my oil changed last week and have started noticing leaking oil on my garage floor.

Details -

reddish / brownish oil
under the fron driver side

My questions are:

1) What may be the cause? Something the oil change place did incorrectly?

2) Can I check ths location myself? I have never changed my car's oil myself - where is the oil drain plug located? Will I be able to access it without jacking up the car? Do I just need to tighten this myself?

3) Since it is leaking oil, and till I fix this, how can I check to make sure there is enough oil in the car each morning? Does the car need to be running to properly check the oil level? Or do I check it when the car is still cold?

4) If I need to add oil, where do I add it?

If its reddish it sounds like tranny fluid if you have an automatic.

I know my previous car leaked oil after an oil change, and it turns out that they used two gaskets or something, i really cant remember since it was a long time ago, but it was their fault.

It is reddish / brownish. If it is transmission oil, what do I do? Can I replenish that myself till I get it looked at? Can I do something on my own to find out exactly what the leak is?

since you dont seem mechanically inclined, id recommend going to a compitent shop/transmission shop, and let them put it on a rack to see whats leaking exactly. that would probably be the simplest way to go. it is either transmission fluid, or powersteering fluid (the same stuff), so it could be either the transmission leaking somewhere, or the steering rack, both of which i still recommend having it put on a lift to check.

i had the same problem

i just took in my car to a trans shop they put it up in the air and looked around..
gave me some BS that its leaking in all kinds of places..

i seen that the oil pan was really dirty and just told them i'll come back the next day since they were about to close

i went to kragen and did a quick drain and fill and changed out the gasket and filter
