camry seat question

I am thinking about replacing my cloth seats with OEM leather seats from a 95 xle camry. My question was if anybody knows if these seats from a 95 xle camry (electric seats in the front) would fit my 96 camry LE(Cloth seats).?? DO anybody knows if there is a plug in my car to plug in the electric stuff for the seats to work.?

Thanks for you inputs!

Prolly no plug. Just run the wires for it yourself. Or get the XLE harness from a junkyard and swap it.

Good chance it would be a direct swap with the current harness. I;d recommend that way. but I just dislike cutting or taping into wires unless 100% necessary.

But chances are, it would be a direct swap. I know on a DX with no power windows/locks, you can just plug all the harnesses into the car, and it will work. So my thinking is it would be the same for this.

i looked under the seat today and what i found under the driver seat is the wires that warns the driver if your not wearing ur seat belt thing beside that there is no other wires coming out of the driver side. The wires for the seatbelt waring same as the electric stuff for the leather seats or is there a diffrent sets of wires coming out for the electrical leather seats.??
thanks for the inputs.

It was quite a while back but I did it for my LE. No wiring for the electric seats existed.
The easiest way is to get a plug from and XLE (junkyard) and wire to your fusebox.
Just reach under the donor car seat and snip it with enough wire length so you can splice later.. I think there were only three wires.
Also for some reasons, I think you will have to do something about the seatbelt wire as there is only the one plug into the seat and the seat belt indicator runs off that.
I can't remember which fuse I used but I picked something that would only work when keys were in ignition. Sorry I cannot supply more detail then that but it is a start.

I like my leathers. First thing you notice is your stereo is going to sound different.

I have Dual power seats is why the other one is there. I just used that pic cause it was the only good shot I had of the wire.
