3rd Generation general pricing

Just trying to get a general idea of how much it costs for the whole 3sgte swap into the camry, if anybody cares to tell? I'm just trying to get myself ready in money here.

Need more specifics.

Plan to do it yourself, or have a shop do it?

You plan to use a regular 1st Gen 3SGTE or a 3rd Gen with more power?

Is your car already a 5-speed, or is it an Auto?

sorry, forgot about telling all that.

I'm swapping to a manual from auto. I'm having a shop do it and I have the 3rd gen stroker, modified ECU, wiring harness and everything to go with it.

If you already have the motor then you know the cost of that stuff. If you have the shop in mind, they will be able to give you a price on labor. And for transmission parts, plan on about 1500 for decent parts at least...

I dont think you'll have a hard time finding a decent shape/quality supra. You'll end up spending that 4K for the car, plus a shitload to build it up into good running condition. Personally, I'd do the 3sgte

thanks, that's all I needed to know at the least. And no, I'll stick with the camry. I find it more fun to run around with something different and unexpected. I like to stand out in a crowd as much as possible

I did not know that. I might just get one sooner or later. If my DJ career pays off.
